After 16 years in business, we are proud to announce the launch of our new logo. It was time for a new, updated logo that better reflected our Core Values, FireTeam model, and commitment to our customers and carriers as Phalanx has evolved.
Since our inception in 2005, Phalanx Logistics Solutions has featured the same square logo representing the Phalanx (pronounced – fālanks), a Greek military formation, usually composed of heavy infantry with spears and shields.
“Sticking to our roots, we want to leave the old and keep the good while making it better through technology and people,” said Mike Dagiasis, Chief Vision Officer & President. “We needed a new logo that marks where we were but also where we’re going.”
The X in our logo symbolizes the cross-section and relationship between customer, receiver, carrier, and Phalanx. The circle encompassing the X represents our shield, as we execute as Guardians of freight, with X representing intersecting spears in battle, honoring our former logo.
The new font represents the Greek history of the Phalanx. Our unique Phalanx Purple was updated to a consistent, darker shade of purple to hold its regal quality.
With our Trailblazer mindset, we hope to lead the way in logistics and mark our X as we go. The new logo will be reflected and updated in our marketing and communications and the launch of our brand-new website in the coming months.
